The island has a large home facing the Coral Sea with a second house that was built in the late 1800’s, which has had some modernization given to the interior, however, the hand made brickwork and the pathways are in fantastic condition.

The island has its own 700ft runway to cater for small aircraft or helicopter from either Airlie Beach or Bowen.

The island is surrounded by coral and has the bluest water surrounding it. There is fishing abound and has its own slipway and shed. There is a further stone shed that houses the various machinery including tractors and slashers. There is some maintenance to be done on the old building, however the large home is ready to move in.

The island was first developed as a commercial property in the 1800’s and still has some evidence of its former existence.

One of the islands fabulous features is a natural and hand made assisted rock swimming pool. This pool is up high on the island level, and the former owner took the rock outcrop and developed a salt water swimming pool with the assistance of a new windmill pump that continually feeds the pool and keeps it at a constant level, so no need for chemicals or cleaning as the crystal clear water is in abundance.
